When Sexual Harrassment Accusation trurns Public lynching..

Views :  A former SC judge deserve some kind of dignity . The law intern made some remarks about the judge in a blog . The intention of the law intern was not make a legal issue  against the  judge.
She wrote on the blog that she don't like to spoil the reputation of the judge.
But , what is happened ? When the name of the judge has gone to public , where is the matter of reputation ? What is really happened in the hotel room ? Nobody knows. Who says the truth?
Nobody  knows. One thing sure .The reputation of the judge has gone already . In the eyes of the public ,he will be a  doubtful man till the end and after the death also.
When a sexual harassment accusation arises against somebody, his reputation will be gone at that moment. Whether , the accusation is false or true is immaterial. It is not fair and justice . The law permits to keep the name of the victim unknown. The same benefit should be given to the accused also till the crime is proved in the court .
This  kind of public  lynching  never serve purpose of  the law and justice.
Let the law intern  decide whether to go ahead with the accusation or not as she is a matured women and a lawyer.

New Delhi: Former Supreme Court judge Ashok Kumar Ganguly, accused of sexual harassment by a young woman law intern, on Tuesday said he was "undecided" on whether to resign from the chairmanship of West Bengal Human Rights Commission. "I have not decided. I am undecided," Ganguly said.
"Time has not come to think about it," he said when asked about his future course of action in view of demands for his resignation as the chairman of West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC) from certain quarters, while he has received support from some other sections.
BJP leader Sushma Swaraj had on Monday night demanded the resignation of Justice Ganguly, saying "not only Caesar's wife but Caesar too must be above suspicion".
Asked if Ganguly should step down from the postof chairman of WBHRC, former Chief Justice of India Altamas Kabir recently said, "One automatically does not resign on the basis of allegations. I know he had said that he was shocked and shattered. I never ever would believe that this is possible."
