Assaram Babu finally arrested related to a sex assault offence against a minor girl.
His son has questioned the metal stability of the minor as a defence .
I am not going to discuss the merit of this case . The Accused may or may not be guilty.
After the investigation the court will decide the matter.
However, I would like to discuss this defence argument which is raised by his son.
Does any girl raise any false sex accusation against anybody due to the mental issues?
I read an article of a Psychiatrist who comment on this matter.
It was one year before. He is a famous Psychiatrist .However, his name I can't recollect now. But ,the matter I can remember clearly.
He said one of his patient made a false sex accusation against her father and a priest due to her illness .
After the close observation ,the Psychiatrist find out that the girls accusation was false.
After the long treatment ,the girl recovered from the illness.
And the Psychiatrist says that when he read on the sex assault news related to father and daughter on news paper he remember that incident.
It is not a general case .Exceptional cases. However, that angle should not be ignored while probing the matter.
The purpose of the law is to punish the guilty and protect the innocent .
